Uh huh.. Uh huh. Go wading con migo and you might just find yerself sliding right off into the wrong end o' the pool. You can't even see the bottom where i'm at.
'Course, the water ain't exactly Caribbean Blue...
What is meant by ‘offended’? What are some other biblical terms that might be synonymous with ‘offended’ (as it is being used in this sentence)? Does God ever get ‘offended’ in the sense that the term is being used? If so, what occasions in Scripture demonstrate this?
I assume that it is a noble quality that is being extolled. That is, God is not as easily offended as we humans. I assume that it is a bad quality in humans…they are too easily offended. Perhaps you are simply stating that humans have little toleration in dealing with one another’s faults. They will sever or strain relationships over matters which they should forbear. In contrast, God forbears greatly with us.
I also believe it is noteworthy to say that, apart from Christ, we are under God’s wrath. He is angry with us apart from Christ. We must remember that even our sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving has to be offered through Christ.

i know an old retired dentist called "Doc". the first time i met him he told me a story about sharing the gospel with an unbeliever.
the unbeliever yelled at Doc, "You're too narrow minded!"
to which Doc replied, "If you think I'm narrow minded, wait 'til ya meet the Lord. He's the most narrow minded person I know!"
is that deep or shallow?
How long, O Ward, before thou returnest and exact smouldering Justice of those who have offended thy People?
...or like, you know, maybe just write some more stuff? Thy Fanne Clubbe misseth thee and hopeth all goeth well, yea, even with thee and thy House.
